One of the things we value most about the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation is our commitment to learning — not for its own sake, but for the sake of serving churches, donors, and ministries with integrity and care. That commitment is reflected in a shared experience by every member of our team: attending Principles & Techniques of Fundraising through The Fund Raising School at the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in Indianapolis.

Earlier this week, Frank Gresh attended this informative course, held February 16–19 in Indianapolis. The experience provided an opportunity to deepen his understanding of ethical, donor-centered fundraising and the practices that support healthy, sustainable ministry, which will assist him in his development role at the Foundation

Every member of the ODF staff has gone through this same program. It’s important that our team shares a common grounding — one rooted in study, transparency, accountability, and respect for the generosity entrusted to us. Investing in professional formation helps ensure that we continue to serve with discipline, wisdom, humility, and care.

And, of course, there was a little added joy this year. With every ODF staff member having attended the Lilly School of Philanthropy, we’re claiming Indiana University as our collective alma mater — and celebrating its recent national championship.

We look forward to the insights and shared experiences Frank brings back to strengthen our work into the future.

Thank you for the trust you place in the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation. Together, we continue to learn, grow, and steward generosity in ways that touch lives for generations to come.
