As Christmas draws near, the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation staff extends heartfelt gratitude to you. Your gifts and continued support have made an impact and touched lives.
This year has been filled with blessings. Together, we celebrated the Foundation’s 60th Anniversary, honored ministries through grants and endowments, and witnessed the gifts of generosity:
- Summer camps where children celebrated faith and friendship.
- Backpack giveaways that equipped students with dignity and confidence.
- Mission trips that carried compassion beyond our local communities.
- Friendship Feast, Christmas for Others, and Welcome Tables providing meals, coats, and gifts, and a safe haven for those most vulnerable.
- Senior ministries and church legacies, ensuring care and fellowship continue across generations.
One story, in particular, reminds us of the impact of your generosity. A young pilot training in Enid shared how ODF grant-supported ministries welcomed him with meals and encouragement, reigniting his faith and helping him find a church home—your gifts plant seeds of hope and community.
This summer, Oklahoma Disciples carried that same spirit abroad. A team of 41 Disciples organized by First Christian Church, Stillwater, and made up of members from First Christian Church, Stillwater, First Christian Church, El Reno, First Christian Church, Guthrie, First Christian Church, Luther, and Central Christian Church, Enid served in Jamaica. They participated in hosting Vacation Bible School, building homes, and caring for patients. One young adult shared, “God didn’t just show up around us. He showed up in us.” Another volunteer said, “It is such a joy to experience the impact of mission, both home and away.”
As 2025 comes to a close, we celebrate these stories of faith and service, and we look forward to 2026. Your continued support will deepen impact, expand opportunities for ministry, and embrace countless ways to share Christ’s love.
