The Oklahoma Disciples Foundation (ODF) is blessed to steward several endowments that nurture faith, leadership, and service among young people. Through these funds, ministries across Oklahoma and beyond receive grants that help children, youth, and young adults grow in their faith, develop lasting relationships, and experience the joy of service in Christ’s name.
Children, Youth & Young Adults Endowment (2015) – Established to support activities that strengthen the spiritual lives of young Disciples, this endowment provides funding for church-related learning events, mission trips, camps, and special programs for those under age 35. The goal is to create opportunities that deepen faith and foster leadership—whether through hands-on service, study, or fellowship. While it doesn’t fund individual camp scholarships, it ensures that life-changing programs continue to thrive and reach more young people each year.
South Side Christian Church (Tulsa) for Youth Endowment (2011) – When South Side Christian Church in Tulsa completed its ministry, the congregation ensured its mission would live on by dedicating 40% of its endowment distributions to support ministries serving children and youth in Oklahoma. Through the ODF Grants Program, this legacy continues to bless new generations—encouraging the same faith, compassion, and service that defined the congregation’s life together.
Endowment to Fund Grants for Youth & Children (2021) – Founded by an anonymous donor with a deep desire to invest in the future of the church, this endowment provides funding for programs that benefit youth and children. Its support includes camps, educational activities, and other faith-centered opportunities that help young people grow in their understanding of God’s love. Through this generous and forward-looking gift, the donor’s passion for nurturing faith in future generations continues to make a lasting impact.
