This week, the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation met to review and approve the 2026 distributions from our endowment and custodial funds. After thoughtful deliberation and careful attention to our mission, the board approved a record distribution of $1,298,735.83 for 2026 — a 16.81% increase over the 2025 distributions.
This milestone is not simply a number. It represents the faithful generosity of you and donors who, over many years, chose to create funds to support ministry well beyond a lifetime. It reflects disciplined investment, stewardship, and the steady growth of resources entrusted to the Foundation.
Over the past five years, ODF has distributed more than $5 million to support congregations, ministries, scholarships, and mission across Oklahoma and beyond. Each year has built upon the last — a testament to responsible oversight and enduring generosity.
The Board’s role in this process is significant. Every distribution reflects careful review, fiduciary responsibility, and a deep commitment to honoring donor intent. Our directors, fellow Disciples from Oklahoma churches, take seriously the trust placed in them.
Most importantly, these distributions represent lives touched and ministries strengthened. Behind every dollar is a story — a congregation’s legacy, a student supported, a mission expanded, or communities served.
