As part of our series showcasing the endowments that support the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation grants program, we are proud to highlight the Kyle Maxwell Fund. Each week, we share the story of an endowment that helps bring ministry to life across our region through our grants program. This week, we celebrate a fund created to honor a life lived in faithful service.
The Kyle Maxwell Fund was established in 2015 to promote generosity through matching dollars for new endowments or as unrestricted funding through the grants program. This grant funding endowment allows ministries to thrive wherever the need is greatest.
This endowment started with an anonymous gift, and since then, more than 26 individuals and congregations have generously contributed to growing the fund. Together, their gifts have enabled the Kyle Maxwell Fund to award nearly $10,000 to the grants program, impacting lives and supporting ministries across Oklahoma.
As we approach the Foundation’s 60th anniversary celebration and to honor Kyle Maxwell’s lifelong ministry, we thank all who have helped carry his legacy forward. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the Kyle Maxwell Fund and help secure the future of ministry through the Oklahoma Disciples Foundation grants program.
